iMed is a consultation-based Personalized Medicine Concierge Practice. A systems biology approach to identify and address the underlying causes of disease, dysfunction, or disorder is used in the evaluation and management of each patient with the goal of promoting and maintaining optimal health.
Two premises are key to understanding this approach to patient care. First, Biochemical Individuality: every person is a unique biochemical entity, with a unique genetic makeup and predispositions, and affected by a unique set of environmental and lifestyle factors. Second, Systems Biology: our body is a set of interconnected systems, rather than just a summation of parts.
A detailed understanding of the complexity of these factors is required for the patient and physician to work in partnership to discover the root causes of dysfunction, and in selecting a treatment that targets the specific manifestations of disease in each individual by addressing the root cause. A patient may have a condition that is the result of multiple causes, whereas, a single cause may be manifested as multiple conditions in another. Identifying the right cause of dysfunction is critical in selecting interventions that will benefit the patient long beyond masking the symptoms.
Whether you are healthy and wish to delay unhealthy aging, improve your fitness level, manage risk factors or family history to prevent illness, or you suffer from a myriad of complex chronic, debilitating problems, most patients benefit from this personalized approach with the goal of enjoying positive vitality, and not merely absence of disease. Our mission is to help you reach your genetic potential to live and enjoy life at your best.

"Working with patients has taught me a great deal about biochemical individuality. I believe it is imperative that there is a true partnership between physician and patient, in which the patient takes an active role in the discovery, reclaiming, and maintenance of their own health. My goal is to guide each patient through their own health optimization journey."
"My goal is to offer additional tools and solutions to those patients who have not been able to find answers in the regular disease-centered model, as well as to those who wish to optimize their health and wellness with this more personalized approach."
"I wish to continue working in unmasking inapparent or undiagnosed illnesses that significantly affect patients' ability to perform at their optimal level, as well as assisting patients with the simpler lifestyle choices that can prevent or delay dysfunction."
